I’m Sam Hinds.

I’m a scholar and writer, poet and imaginal practitioner, and explorer of emerging cultural edges of collective communion.

I’m also a psychotherapist and adjunct professor at the California Institute of Integral Studies.

In recent years, I have found myself continuously drawn into deepening involvement with an evolving web of collaborative relationships, many of whom are experimenting with “metamodern” cultural gestures in our time between worlds.

This website is a beacon for “finding the others”—those individuals I may work with on the basis of a shared sense of resonance, whether that be in a psychotherapeutic relationship, through some form of a coaching container, through explorations in Communal Reverie, or as part of a collaborative endeavor.

There is plenty to explore here, so do feel free to meander around and follow any golden threads that sing to you…

“You are a song being sung elsewhere, and resonating everywhere.

Learn to let your drama unfold and follow the sound of the Angel, always just on the threshold of consciousness.

Listen. Always listen for that faint song of the Angel whose voice it takes more than a lifetime to hear.”
